DeKuyper Triple Sec
DeKuyper Triple Sec is the orange liqueur no margarita should be without — a 30-proof (15% ABV) cordial in a 750mL bottle, blending sweet and bitter oranges from distilled dried peels. From the cordial house bartenders have trusted since 1695, it brings a pronounced, lingering citrus note that no margarita, cosmopolitan, or Long Island iced tea is complete without. Order it online at Del Mesa Liquor, San Diego, CA.

The Margarita's Other Half
Tequila gets the glory, but triple sec does the architecture — its bitter-orange edge is what keeps a margarita from tasting like sweet-and-sour mix. DeKuyper's version melds sweet and bitter orange peels into a one-of-a-kind cordial that has anchored the classic recipes for generations. Tasting Notes
Bright bitter-orange up front with sweet orange underneath, a clean citrus oil mid-palate, and a lingering zesty finish — built to lift a cocktail, not to sip neat (brand description).
How to Enjoy
Mix: the classic margarita is 2 oz blanco tequila, 1 oz triple sec, 1 oz fresh lime, shaken over ice. It is equally at home in a cosmopolitan or a Long Island iced tea.
