Another winner from Aberlour

Aberlour just expanded their A’bunadh family with a new line: Alba. I couldn’t find batch #001, but got a bottle of #002. It is a summertime version of A’bunadh – lighter and citrusy, but at 58.7% ABV, it’s not exactly a light beer. I really get the pear in the nose. I get lots of citrus and honey on the palette. Even though it is light, the finish is long … and peppery. It is superb! Drink slow, drink long, drink a variety, drink often.
