Westland Redhook Cask Exchange American Single Malt Whiskey

The Cask Exchange continues, this time partnering with the Redhook Brewlab. In this exchange we received casks previously holding a Stratosphere Barley Wine made with Strata hops. The final whiskey initially commences launch with a solid malt and oak profile, and a hint of trailing smoke, eventually thrusting it into a barley wine-soaked orbit.

Palate: Dried apricot, dates, light smoke, crêpe, subtle vanilla.
