Peaches and apricots

In honor of St Patty’s Day, I thought it only appropriate to sip an Irish dram this evening. It opens with peaches and apricots, in a brown-sugar syrup – sticky and sweet, followed by a heavy dose of Irish cream – Bailey’s – which lingers. Through the mid-palate, malt and heavy honey. It finishes with light brown sugar, and coconut milk… and finally a bit of cinnamon. The legs are good, holding that sweet syrup on the tongue. Overall, it is a bit sweet for me, but very enjoyable. Drink slow, drink long, drink a variety, drink often.
