This luscious straight rye whiskey is matured in superior oak barrels for a minimum of two years. Such maturity perfectly marries the rye, malted barley, and malted rye for a soft and creamy mouth feel. This whiskey has a nose of sweet orchard fruits along with classic rye spices. It has tasting notes that start out lightly sweet, turn to crusty bread, and finish with a bit of white pepper.
Golden Age Straight Rye Whiskey has an exciting mash bill of 65% rye, 20% malted barley, and 15% malted rye. Bottled at an impressive 94 proof (47% ABV).
