Excellent Whiskey

Bought an exact same bottle back when I was redeploing home from Afghanistan in the airport in Shannon Ireland. I was never able to drink that bottle in Ireland too sentimental to drink. So when I bought this bottle and tried it I was very pleased it is so smooth and very tasty.

Not Tom Clancy

I am a huge fan of Tom Clancy. So, anything that mentions Jack Ryan is worth a look 😊. While this Jack Ryan has nothing to do with Tom Clancy, it’s worth a sip. It opens with the most pure vanilla I’ve ever had in any dram. The vanilla is quickly joined by honey and oak, then enters pineapple and subtle lemon, neutralizing the sweet pineapple. The legs are quite thin and the finish equally short, but pleasant as the lemon balances the sweet, and is joined by a soft black pepper and a bit of grapefruit. Not one of my go-to drams, but interesting nonetheless. Not Drink slow, drink long, drink a variety, drink often.
