Drumshambo Single Pot Irish Whiskey is the first Irish whiskey to come out of Connacht, a western province, in over 105 years. It’s distilled by hand at the Shed Distillery of PJ Rigney from a blend of malted Irish barley, un-malted Irish barley and Irish barra oats.
This whiskey was aged five years in first use ex-Kentucky Bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks and was bottled at 43% alcohol by volume. It is said to be a smooth, creamy and spicy full-bodied whiskey.
This still whiskey joins the Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin as the second offering available in the Shed Distillery’s US portfolio. It’s rolling out nationwide at a suggested retail price of around $65 at 750 ml bottles.
One of the most consumed Irish Whiskey in any liquor store nationwide.
