Reserva de la Familia Extra Añejo is the award-winning pinnacle of the Jose Cuervo family of tequilas. The finest 10-12 year-old agaves are hand-selected, and only the most flavorful inner portion of the agave’s heart is used to make this 100% Blue Agave Extra Añejo Tequila.

This year, multi-talented visual artist Gonzalo Lebrija was tapped to dream up his own vision for a special-edition box, blending visual elements of origami with his interpretation of Cuervo’s famed agave fields. 

Educated in Communications at the Instituto Tecnológico de studios Superiores de Occidente (Guadalajara, México), he uses the mediums of photography, video, sound and sculpture to capture the aesthetic experience of time. With an almost humorous nihilism, he explores the passage and futility of life, often focusing on the vertiginous possibilities of frozen moments.
