Cooperstown Abner Doubleday's Baseball Bourbon

This young bourbon is sourced from Indiana and blended several times by Cooperstown Distillery. A blend of new young bourbon and some 5 year old bourbon, it drinks remarkably well, like a fine "older" bourbon should. A mash bill of corn, rye, and barley, this whiskey is "up proofed" to a 90 proof to help define the burnt sugar nose, enhance the subtle notes of the butterscotch and toffee that fill the mouth and accentuate the desired "band-aid" finish so typical of older whiskies. Filled in patented, specialty baseball decanter, this bourbon whiskey makes a great sipping spirit. The clever packaging makes a great gift for any occasion.
