Bluecoat American Dry Gin is the flagship spirit of Philadelphia Distilling. Founded in 2005, it was the first legal distillery to open in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania since Prohibition. Bluecoat American Dry Gin uses only 100% organic botanicals, and was crafted specifically with a 21st Century palate in mind: less juniper forward, and featuring American citrus flavors including Florida and California organic orange peel. Bluecoat Barrel Finished Gin is the same spirit as Bluecoat American Dry Gin, but it has been aged in an American white oak, level 3 char barrel for about 3-9 months. This gives the gin hints of vanilla, caramel, and baking spice in perfect compliment to its signature citrus-forward botanical flavors. Similarly, Bluecoat Elderflower Gin starts with our original Bluecoat dry gin that is then steeped with whole organic elderflowers to impart a complex, heady floral flavor at the same signature 94 proof.
