Town Branch Sherry Cask Finish Bourbon Whiskey

The Town Branch Sherry Cask Finished Bourbon is a 26-barrel run that blends two unique Oloroso Sherry finishes, resulting in a dark amber-chestnut color with a touch of crimson. Most of the whiskeys in the blend are about 6 years old and finished between 9 and 14 months in Oloroso Sherry barrels. The aroma is sweet and marries notes of raisins, dates, roasted walnuts, hazelnuts, and molasses. On the palate is sherry mingled with dried orchard fruit followed by vanilla and roasted nuts. The finish is long with a touch of heat.
