This Cask Strength behemoth come straight from the barrel to your glass. Foundry Distilling partnered with Stone Brewing and made a whiskey using the wort of Stone Imperial Stout (liquid resulting from the first stage of the brewing process). This  monster of a whiskey is distilled and aged in 30-gallon charred oak barrels for 30 months and clocks in at 127 proof. (That's 63.5% ABV in beer terms.). Be sure to get this one, its going to be great.

Stone Imperial Whiskey

The item arrived in great condition. The packeting was great. The whiskey is incredible…and then add in its inky 30 months old…this is in my top 5 whiskey bottles..,which is why I’m willing to pay for it to be shipped from the west coast to the east coast. A great pour!!!

Stone Imperial Whiskey Cask Strength

I got a bottle of this on a whim when I was on the west coast last summer. It turned out to be the best bottle I brought home and in my top 5 bottles of all time. It definitely had a depth of flavor I wasn’t expecting. It almost tastes like an American Single Malt finished in Cognac barrels. Now I am trying to find more to ship because I did not realize how much I would enjoy it and that they had a pretty small distribution region.

I recommend this product

Even though it is a young whiskey and has a certain rawness. Nevertheless, it has uncommon depth of character and surprising nuanced flavors. My favorite of the 35 bourbons in my cabinet.
