Crown Royal Blackberry whiskey

I was so excited when I learned about this product, I love blackberry drinks and this had to be one of the best, I was sure. I was so enthusiastic, I searched outside my home area to find a bottle of this; I now live in Ohio and had to order from Chula Vista just to get me a bottle of this. Now I'm not a connoisseur of alcohol by any means, and my favorite drink is spiced Rum, but the blackberry drew me in. Had to have a shot first thing, right out of the box: The bouquet was excellent, made me crazy. Hmm, not bad, but not quite the taste I was expecting. The aftertaste was more alcohol than blackberry, though. Had another shot, let it sit a few moments to settle, see if that helped: Nope, same thing. Okay, let's mix it, Crown and Coke: No. There was something off about this, didn't mix well at all. After another shot, I've let it sit and see if it recovers from the travel or something; have offered shots to friends coming over, but they're not impressed either. Its not bad, it's Crown, but just not coming over like I expected. I'll drink it, of course, but it's not worth the hype and cost I put into it, at least so far. -Jim

Best blackberry whiskey

It is so smooth and tastey. Does not taste like the rumors of cough syrup etc. Very smooth and tasty whiskey
